Before we get into the article, we here at Bears 101 just want to say that we hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving. Now that we're all at least five pounds heavier, and got to enjoy a few football games on turkey day, it's time to get back into the daily grind.

Last week was the best week we've had all year here at Bears 101. We went 12-1, and  vastly improved our mark to 94-55-1.

All the bye weeks are done, so from here on out, each week will feature 16 games. This week, however, featured three games on Thursday, meaning there will only be 13 games for us to pick this week. The Thanksgiving games seemed like easy picks, but the Detroit Lions sure put up a fight against Houston, and quite frankly should've wont the game.

Oh well, guess you're in last place for a reason.

Let's jump right into this week's action.

Jay Cutler will play for the Chicago Bears this afternoon, while Percy Harvin didn't travel with the team. Although Minnesota should pack the line and go big — like the 49ers did Monday night to beat the Bears — something tells me the loss of Harvin will really hurt the men in purple.

The Cincinnati Bengals have been rolling of late, and the Raiders are the perfect team to continue that trend against. Staying in the AFC North, even with their third string quarterback Charlie Batch under center, we still think the Pittsburgh Steelers have what it takes to beat the Browns. We believe Pittsburgh will gain a game as we see the San Diego Chargers winning a game at home against the Ravens. But we'll have to wait and see how Norv can possibly mess that up.

Andrew Luck will always be compared to Peyton Manning. Fitting that this week they play against two of the league's worst defenses. Both the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos should win soundly, further improving their playoff chances.

The Miami Dolphins are known for their run defense, and they face Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. We pick the 'Hawks in this one, as they find a way to get Lynch the ball.

There are a few dud games this week, and unfortunately for the league, one of them takes place on Monday night. We'll rip through the three of them here, without explanation. We like the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers to win their respective games.

A few NFC South games provide major playoff implications this week. We'll start with the surprise pick. Greg Schiano has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing his style of football, and although they face Matt Ryan and the high powered Falcons offense, we believe they will take down the division leader, staying in the playoff hunt. As for the Saints, we don't believe they have what it takes to beat Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers. Kaepernick was able to make the Bears' defense look bad, and they're one of the league's best. The Saints, on the other hand, have been walked on week in and week out.

The game of the week will take place on Sunday night. We have the Green Bay Packers taking on the New York Giants. All Bears fans will be rooting for the Giants in this one, but it won't matter. Even though they are home, has anyone else seen Eli Manning historically in the month of November? Yes, it still is November so the Giants are in for one more bad game this year. Once this game is over, don't be surprised to see the G-MEN win every game until the season is over. However, in this one, Aaron Rodgers and company will prevail.
