The Chicago Bears are in the midst of a December collapse. Some Chicago players have recently come out and expressed their displeasure with their treatment from the fans at home.

Just when you think things couldn't get any worse for the Chicago Bears, Mr. Chicago Bear himself publicly said he is a Green Bay Packers fan.

"Now, I'm a Packer fan too – for one reason. First of all, I love the coach, he's from Pittsburgh. But Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in football – without question. He gets it, he understands, he's a class act. He's a great leader," Dikta said in an interview with the Journal Sentinel.

Now, isn't that two reasons?

People associated with the Chicago Bears are supposed to hate the Green Bay Packers. Hearing Ditka gush over Rodgers has to be painful for Chicago fans.

He also said he's still a Bears fan and will always be a Bears fan as he's won two Super Bowls as a member of the Chicago Bears organization — one as a tight end (1963), the other as a head coach (1985) — but his remarks about the Packers are what will be remembered.
