If the Chicago Bears don't win this game, their playoff hopes are all but gone, and Lovie Smith might actually be fired on the spot. The Cardinals haven't played well recently — outside of their shocking win against the Lions last week — but their offense shouldn't move the ball at all against Chicago's defense.
They key to this game will be in whether or not Chicago can move the ball on offense. This has the makings of a game that could end 10-7, but Chicago has been known to beat up on much weaker opponents. Don't believe us, look at their 7-1 start to this season.
The defensive unit is still undermanned, with Brian Urlacher, Henry Melton and Tim Jennings all not likely to play. However, Charles Tillman will be matched up with Arizona's most dangerous playmaker, Larry Fitzgerald, not like the Cardinals' quarterbacks have figured out how to throw him the ball anyway.
The Cardinals injury list is much longer than that of Chicago, but just about everyone is questionable. It truly is undetermined what that really means, so it's safe to assume everyone listed with the "Q" next to their name from Arizona could suit up for this game.
If their defense plays like it did last week against Detroit, Chicago will have a lot of trouble in this one. If they lose, the season is over. You've heard it here first — probably not, buy we just like to say it. Regardless, Chicago should come out with the win, making their Week 17 game in Detroit a true must-win.
